Vehicle thought to be used in blast found abandoned in Faridabad; cops say it has nothing to do with the attack
On Wednesday, after running helter-skelter for a silver-coloured Hyundai Santro that was reportedly spotted outside gate number 5 at the time when the blast took place, a Delhi police official said that the vehicle had nothing to do with the blast.

Earlier, police had informed that the suspect used the car to carry the explosive and escaped in the same vehicle (with number plate DL9CA6034) after the explosion. The police carried out a frantic search for the car.
On Thursday, the Hyundai Santro was found abandoned in a field in Faridabad area of Haryana.
Police said that the car was owned by Inshu Minocha, who used to live in Daryaganj area in Central Delhi. The car was stolen in 2009 and Minocha had got an FIR registered at Daryaganj police station to this effect. He also received an insurance claim of Rs 50,500 from a national insurance company.
