"Ryan Napoleon is sanctioned with a three-month period of ineligibility commencing on 15 June 2010," said the Court of Arbitration for Sport in a statement.

The ban "will come to an end today", it added.
Swimming Australia had imposed a three-month ban on Napoleon starting from August, which had meant that he would be forced to sit out the New Delhi meet.
The swimmer was sanctioned after he tested positive for formoterol, a common asthma medication.
An asthmatic for all his life, Napoleon had taken medication from an inhaler which was incorrectly labelled and he subsequently tested positive for a banned substance on the Word Anti-Doping Agency list.
While the ruling panel had found then that Napoleon was not at fault for a pharmacist's mistake in incorrectly labelling the medication, it imposed a ban as it found that the swimmer should have been fully aware of the medication he was taking.
While CAS on Tuesday cleared the swimmer for the Commonwealth Games, it disqualified him from all competitions from November 16, 2009 to January 28, 2010.
Napoleon won the 1500m and finished second in the 400m freestyle events at last year's Australian championships.
