CBSE Class 10th X Board Exam Result is expected to be announced on 20th / 21st May 2014. The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to announce its Class 10th X Result 2014 in a day or two. The results can be checked on the CBSE official website or from Jagran Josh on https://www.jagranjosh.com/results/2014-cbse-10th-29950 once it is declared.

The candidates can also get their results via SMS. No official date for result declaration has been announced so far. Therefore, the speculation over the CBSE 10th and 12th result date that exists is high.

The CBSE Board accustomed to conduct CBSE Board Exams i.e. 10th & 12th Board Exams every year in the Month of March. In similar manner board has conducted 10th Exam in the month of March amid 1st March 2014 till 19th March 2014.

Lakhs of students appears for the Central Board of Secondary Examination every year. This year, around 13,28,970 candidates appeared for CBSE Class 10th X Board Exam 2014 from which the total number of boys are 7,93,940 and the total number of girls are 5,35,030 appeared for the board exam.

From the total number of students who appeared for the examination 452 are visually impaired, 788 are dyslexics, 232 are hearing and speech impaired and 1,527 are physically challenged. And, spastics are 161 and autistic are 20.

Around 12,871 schools participated in the board exams, the board examination were conducted at 3,253 places. From the total number of centers, 605 were local centers, 66 were foreign and 8 centers are for special category students i.e. for blind students in the capital city, Delhi.

Earlier the board used to give marks in percentage. However, from last five year there is a change in the marking scheme of CBSE Board examination. Central Board of Secondary Education has introduced grading system instead of giving marks in percentages. Those students who feels that they need to improve their grades can reappear for the improvement examinations same year in the month of July.
