CD Review: Breaking Dawn

At the risk of annoying an army of Twilight fans (they are referred to as Twihards for reasons unknown) the soundtracks accompanying each of the five films have always appeared to be more satisfying than the films themselves.

CD Review: Breaking Dawn

Look at the wealth of indie music on this one, for instance. It opens with Passion Pit (Where I Come From), segues into the smooth-as-silk British singer Ellie Goulding (Bittersweet), throws in a Green Day track (The Forgotten) before bringing on Canadian singer Feist (Fire in the Water). And that’s just a third of what the CD holds.

Fans will recognise the skill with which the tracks mirror certain scenes in the movie, but non-Twilight watchers will find a lot to admire too. Very nice.
