English glovesman's brilliant effort against South Africa in the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy sees him become the third cricketer from his country to achieve the feat
Wicketkeeper Jos Buttler today became the seventh cricketer to effect six dismissals in an ODI and the third from England to achieve the feat, during their ICC Champions Trophy semifinal against South Africa here. All his dismissals came in the form of catches at the Kennington Oval.

The 22-year-old stood like a rock as he joined Australian great Adam Gilchrist, South Africa stumper Mark Boucher, India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, former West Indies keeper Ridley Jocobs and countrymen Matt Prior and Alec Stewart.
Gilchrist had achieved the feat a staggering six times during his illustrious career. Born in Taunton, Somerset, Buttler made his ODI debut against Pakistan in February 2012. He turned out for Sussex in the last English county season.
