Children's day at MHA

Sagar Dihora converted a penalty corner to give the Malad team a lead in the 11th minute. But the very next minute his effort was cancelled out by Don Bosco’s Aidan Da Costa. Aradhya Deolekar scored a brilliant field goal from an acute angle in the 15th minute to make it 2-1 for the Matunga school.

Children’s Academy fought back and took control of the game in the second half. Sagar scored a field goal to equalise 2-2, taking the match into the tie-break.

In the shoot out, Hemant Fadikar, Milan Waghela and Rohit Gaekwad scored for Children’s Academy. On the other hand, only Pierre Noronha and Rosenberg Gabriel were on target for Don Bosco.

Children’s Academy’s goalkeeper Piyush Jain did a brilliant job, bringing about two saves, to help his team win the title after a gap of three years.u00a0
