Why should Christmas in India just be about pot roast? After all, when cultures marry, food is the child that receives the best benefits. And, Bandra's ingredient forward, gas-free kitchen restaurant Arth is celebrating just that with an Indian Thaal meal that will showcase rustic Indian flavours in a Christmas attire.Binge on smoked lamb chops, bharwan tangri, Anglo Indian duck Moilee, lamb and ale pie, truffle chokha, turkey biryani and more. Vegetarians? There's smoked beetroot chop, gucchi pie and cranberry kabuli pulao along with breads and rice cakes.

A festive breakfast
Chef Sanjana Patel has designed a menu inspired from the classics and given them a twist using seasonal flavours. Start your day on a sweet note with their version of Stollen bread made with German marzipan fruit loaf with rum and raisin. Also on offer are the turkey croissant with house made cranberry sauce and soufflé pancakes.

Brunch for the goodies
One of the most luxurious hotels in the city is all set to ring in the Christmas festivities. Seven Kitchens at St Regis will host a brunch that will not just offer a scrumptious spread but also create a celebratory mood with carol singers and Santa Claus, who will gift you for your good deeds. Dive into a menu that comprises roasted turkey, leg of lamb, Chilean sea bass, scallops, ravioli, charcuterie, pork belly and plum cake.

The susegad lunch
Can't hop over to Goa? O Pedro will bring the sunny state here for you. Their special menu will offer dishes that Goans make during the 12 days of Christmas. Start with boodie's shrimp pilaf served with prawn wafers, moving on to delicious pork assado or the braised lamb chop aad maas with red rice sannas.

The pre-dinner drink
To celebrate the festive season, Toast & Tonic is introducing five cocktails, one for every palate. These will be made using their home-made shrubs, syrups and infusions. Start with a maple sour made from Hudson Valley Maple Syrup, bourbon and burnt cinnamon served with lemon-cinnamon infused ice cube. Gin lovers should opt for It's apple thyme made from Scottish caorunn gin, frosty negroni and cranberry ginger fizz.

Our country is packed with diverse cultures, giving us a vast variety of food items to celebrate each festival. This is exactly what The Bombay Canteen will use to create a nostalgic Christmas meal. These family recipes have been sourced from Kerala, Goa, Meghalaya and Bengal to create six family XMas delicacies. On offer are Buff Olives, Ammini's Duck Curry, Dilli Carrot Toffee Pudding and more. The bar will serve up spiked egg nog and Christmas milk punch.

Tonight's the last night to catch JW Marriott's Christmas buffet. The dinner spread starts with seasonal specials such as roast turkey, suckling pig, roast leg of lamb and meat carving station. Post a heavy lunch and the easy sleep that comes after, what you need is a cup of coffee and a pick-me-up. It's the season to forget the calories, so head to The Koffee Works cafe. Their menu won't just get your mouth watering but will also make for a perfect picture! Hot chocolate fans can try the rich Belgian chocolate infused with spices. You can pick from a Spiced Latte with gingerbread or hot caramel with butter toffee. Something more decedent? Go for the nutella brownie crumble and oreo brownie crumble.

Drunk and dined? Save room for desserts. The patisserie at Yauatcha has launched a brand new range of macaroons that features flavours such as mulled wine and chocolate ganache, banana blends with spiced cinnamon and classic lemon with a twist of sesame. The eight new flavours draw inspiration from nostalgic X'mas treats like gingerbread and blood orange.
