Psych! Is a game where all you have to do is fool your friends by lying to them. After selecting the topic, everyone in the group will be presented with the same question and you have to enter a believable lie. If you manage to fool your friends you get extra points. The game is completely cellphone driven and is free for the basic set of topics. You can buy extra topics if you want and just one person needs to do that for everyone to play. The game is very similar to Fibbage available in the Jackbox Party Pack. You can also add Ellen DeGeneres to the game for some witty answers that can really fool you. The game is available on both Android and iOS and can be played across platforms.

Bring on the intrigue
Hidden Agenda is a crime solving game that you can play with your friends. Rather than a noisy party, this one is more suited to a quieter, cheese-and-wine kind of party. Your friends will need to install the Hidden Agenda app and will need to be on the same WiFi as your PlayStation.
As the story unfolds in all its cinematic gloriousness, you will be asked to make some quick decisions, aim at something and even deceive your friends. Your actions define how the story branches out and how it ends. The game supports up to six players and can even be played by one person, in case no one shows up.

Who's the know-it-all?
Knowledge is Power is a trivia game for six where the objective is to reach the top of the summit before everyone else. You will need your wit and all your tact to make it to the top first. The game also lets you click selfies to look like your online personas, which is a great feature. Not to mention, you can brag about your conquests on social media directly from the cellphone application, to further humiliate your opponents, oops, we mean friends. You will need to download the companion app and have everyone on the same WiFi to play the game.

Get foot-stomping
What party is complete without dancing? Just Dance 2018 removes the awkwardness and lets your guests get in on the action. The neon infused game is also great for kids, with a decent selection of children-friendly songs and dance moves. Just Dance 2018, like most games on this list, uses your cellphone as a controller.
You need to install the Just Dance Controller app and be on the same WiFi as the game console. The phone uses the gyroscope and other components in the phone to detect your movements. Though the cellphone controller is very convenient, it isn't very accurate, so you might have to coax your friends to dance properly rather than just flailing their arms around to fool the sensors. You can play with up to six players at the same time.
