Try a Levantine, Spanish and East Mediterranean brunch. The food spread will have Kodai Camembert with Truffle and Chives, Christmas Turkey with Cranberry Sauce (in pic), Spanish Leg of Ham, Prawn Crusted Moroccan Charmoula Sea Bass, and Brie Waffle Grilled Cheese. Try Floyd Cardoz's Braised Short Ribs (with a spicy and sticky meat jus, rice pilaf and winter carrots); Shannon Lawrence's Pork Sambari (sliced roast pork with East Indian style curry and fugias); Aaron Coutinho's Apa de Camarao (Goan prawn and potato Pie with a balchao filling); and Thomas Zacharias' (in pic) Duck Curry (half-duck cooked Kerala-style with coconut and potatoes). End your meal with Christmas Cake or Good Ol' Egg Nog and Canteen Mulled Wine.

Meat and greet
The festive spread here is expectedly heavy on meat. There is a Kansas City Strip Steak with Black Bean Cream Sauce, Nut and Herb Rub Grilled Lobster, Grilled Mutton Chops, Carolina Mustard Pan Gravy and Smoked Pork Belly with Charred Chili Mojo. For dessert, there is a Christmas Pudding with Butterscotch Treacle, Gingerbread Icecream and Bitter Chocolate and Candied Orange Skillet Cookie.

This season, try festive specials from a different cuisine. Pick from Spaghetti alle Vongole (spaghetti with clams), Fettuccine Bolognese (fettuccini with minced chicken in juicy pomodoro sauce), Roast Chicken with Wild Mushroom Jus, the traditional Italian-style porcini soup, Zuppa di Porcini, authentic Neapolitan pastas and pizzas, and for dessert, the Panettone or Strawberry Mousse.

Mumbai's popular breakfast place has a special festive menu. Tuck into Pumpkin Soup with Truffle Oil, Scrambled Eggs with a Portobello Mushroom Gravy on Toast, Turkish Eggs with Garlic Yoghurt, a Burrito Bowl, White Chocolate and Cinnamon Pancakes, Eton Mess on a Waffle, and Madagascar Vanilla Meringue Crumble on a Belgian Waffle.
