When asked why he agreed to play a cat whisperer in 'Nine Lives', he stated, "There are many factors. Yes, who the other actors are and who the director is. With Barry Sonnenfeld, Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Garner, it just seemed like an obviously good job."

Christopher believes that he would like to play some fathers and grandfather roles now. "I get so many villainous people, you know. I'd really like to play someone who gives good advice".
The film is all set to release in India on August 5th 2016 by PVR pictures.
