At 6 pm yesterday, Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan's personal assistant Gajanan Awalkar's speeding car hit a biker, who sustained injuries

Awalkar was travelling in a government vehicle. At the time of going to press, the police had not registered a case against the driver.u00a0The car rammed into biker 21 year-old Suraj Solanki. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was given five stitches on his head and sent home. Awalkar said, “Nothing happened. It is not very big incident. There is no need to create a scene out of. The boy is in good condition.”
