Two women file lawsuit against an lingerie company that claims caffeine-laced fat-busting shapewear helps destroy fat cellulite
A lawsuit has been filed against Maidenform Brands Inc’s ‘shapewear’ that contains caffeine capsules, as two women have alleged that it doesn’t destroy fat as advertised.
According to the complaint filed in Brooklyn Federal Court, Christine Caramore and Michelle Martin have sued the company as they claimed that it did not help them cut down fat, the New York Daily News reported.
The product, which contains tiny caffeine capsules embedded in it “to promote fat destruction”, had claimed that it helps get rid of cellulite.
