...says Grammy award-winning DJ, producer Diplo, who's touring Mumbai as Major Lazer

Q. What made you shoot Lean On in India?
A. India is a majestic land filled with beautiful people. She's special and her beauty absolutely humbled me. Major Lazer has always been a culture mashup. The experience is something we'll never forget.

Q. Have you had the chance to see Coldplay's latest video shot in Mumbai?
A. Coldplay's video seems a little forced I don't really get it. I shot in India because I had days off in India and a lot of friends helped out locally. We had the funniest time shooting here. I can't believe how epic the video looks for just a few days of running around bribing cops. Man we did this DIY and just had fun with our crew. That's all we do as Major Lazer. We are just some regular a** kids trying to do something extraordinary.

Q. Your first visit to India was to Gujarat after the earthquake. Have you had the chance to visit the state again?
A. I'd love to again. You could possibly imagine the deep spiritual connection I share with the country. India has become this monstrous industrial powerhouse!

Q. What do you look for when you scout for talent?
A. All we ask for is for any performer who will give us quality time and a good vibe.

Q. India has played host to several EDM festivals. How do you plan to make Mad Decent a unique affair?
A. America's biggest dance event is making its India debut and you sure need to be excited. A big thumbs up to our local partner Sunburn for making this happen. It will be where mainstream meets Electronic meets Hip-Hop with influences from the past and present styles of Moombahton, Electro, Dancehall, Dubstep, Trap, etc. Some phenomenal visual artistry, theatrical stage tactics, distilled line-up and a family-friendly aesthetic. We encourage you to bring the family. It's not your average block party. Big Gigantic, Gorgon City and Giraffage are all making their first time visits to the country.

Q. What are your favourite places of visit in the country?
A. The Taj Mahal in Agra, Colaba and the Gateway Of India.
