There is a new kind of nightlife that adventure seekers and fitness enthusiasts are warming up to. Cycle racing across the length and breadth of Mumbai is fast gaining reputation as a favourite passion to pursue with several groups encouraging cycling aspirants.

This Thursday, on the eve of Republic Day, the folks at travel group Wandering Souls are organising a 23-km ride that will ensure you not only get a slice of the city on your bicycle, but also soak in the sights and sounds across the stretch, culminating in a piping-hot breakfast at popular Matunga eatery, Ram Ashraya, in the wee hours of the morning.
The event will begin in Colaba and worm its way along popular city landmarks like Gateway of India, Marine Drive, Haji Ali, Worli Sea face, Bandra-Worli Sea Link, Siddhivinayak temple and Shivaji Park. The race is expected to wind up before sunrise, and the participants can enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the end point, which is the 80-year-old Ram Ashraya Hotel, known for its delicious Udipi fare and aromatic coffee.
