“At 7.45 am on Thursday, the sweeper of the society spotted Sudhakar’s body lying at the entrance of the back gate of the building number 28. She immediately informed Sudhakar’s family who reside on the fourth floor of building number 27 in the same society. Sudhakar’s father Shankar then called the police,” said L G Shinde, police inspector at Samta Nagar police station.
“We reached the spot and took Sudhakar to Bhagwati Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. There were no injury marks on the body of the deceased. However, both his arms had been broken. It seems that his arms were brutally twisted,” said Shinde, who is investigating the case.
Sudhakar’s body has been sent for post mortem to find out the exact cause of his death.
Two detained
Cops have detained two men from Sudhakar’s society who are sons of constable with whom the deceased had a fight in the past. “The two have been detained based on suspicion. One of the persons detained has an assault case registered against him in the past,” said Shinde. Sudhakar, who is a class VIII dropout, stayed with his parents at the police colony in Saraf Choudhary Nagar, Thakur Complex. Kamble’s father is an assistant police inspector and is attached to the MHB police station and had been serving since the last 25 years.u00a0
