Victim lodged a complaint, stating that the accused spiked her drink, raped her and recorded an MMS clip; later they blackmailed and forced her into flesh trade
Police have arrested a middle-aged married couple and is on the lookout for a third person after a 17-year-old girl lodged a complaint with them, stating that the accused sexually assaulted her after drugging her.
The girl was subjected to a string of sexual assaults over a period of five months. According to her, she was forced to have sex because the couple had made an MMS clip with which they used to blackmail her.

Based on the complaint, the Trombay police arrested Ahmed Ali Ibrahim Khan (46) and his wife Noorjahan Ahmed Ali Khan (39), a beautician, on Wednesday night. The third accused Shamshuddin is absconding and is believed to have fled to Dubai after getting wind of the investigation, said police.
The police said the victim told them that the couple are her next-door neighbours and have been forcing her into the flesh trade since October 2012.
The victim assisted Noorjahan in her profession and on one occasion in October she was invited over in the evening where she was offered a cold drink laced with a sedative. When the girl woke up in the morning she found herself naked with Ahmed Ali sleeping beside her.
Noorjahan told the victim not to reveal the episode to her family members, stating that they clicked photographs and filmed the entire incident.
The investigation police officer said after that the young girl’s ordeal continued wherein the couple forced her to become their sex slave, blackmailing her with the recorded MMS clip if she revealed the incident to anybody.
“Once on the pretext of some work, they took me to a hotel in Vashi. After dinner, they once again spiked my drink and Ahmed Ali forced me to have sex with him,” said the victim.
The victim also states in her complaint that a month later she was taken to a wedding in Bangalore and before returning Ahmed Ali had sexually assaulted her during their stay at a hotel.
A month ago, the accused again took her to a hotel in Vashi where they employed the same modus operandi. But this time when the girl woke up, the third accused Shamsuddin was sleeping beside her, said the victim in her statement.
Police said Ahmed Ali and Shamsuddin are Dubai-based businessmen and frequent the city regularly.
“The accused duo have been arrested and booked under Sections 376 (1) (rape), 292(2)(a) (punishment for obscene picture), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34 (common intention) of the IPC. They were produced at the court and have been remanded in police custody till March 30,” said Sanjay Khaire, senior police inspector at Trombay police station.
“Ali is a salesman based in Dubai and visits the city frequently. His friend Shamsuddin has fled to Dubai. Our investigation is ongoing and he will be nabbed soon,” said API Rajender Khedekar.u00a0
