While footballer Cristiano Ronaldo bids to win Champions League and World Cup in coming months, model girlfriend Irina Shayk awaits her Hollywood debut release 'Hercules'

While Portugal's star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo will be busy preparing for the upcoming Champions League semi-finals and thereafter the all important FIFA World Cup in June, his girlfriend Irina Shayk has an equally crucial next few months lined up.

The Russian model will be making her Hollywood debut alongside Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in Hercules, which will hit the screens in July.
Tipped to be one of the biggest period flicks of the year, the film could virtually make or break Shayk's acting career.

The tasks at hand are equally tough for the couple. While Ronaldo will have to come up with a strong individual performance to succeed against the likes of a star-studded Bayern Munich in the Champions League semis, Portugal is nowhere among the favourites to win the World Cup either.

On the other hand, Shayk too enters the ever so competitive world of entertainment riding on her modelling experience, which does not always contribute to the making of a good actor.
After all, models can't act, is what many believe, and Shayk will have to work really hard to shed her 'wooden' image and make it big in films.
Only time will tell whether both Ronaldo as well as Shayk can succeed in their on and 'off-field' assignments!
