Overwhelmed by the support from the Indian fans at the Champions Trophy, newly crowned winners thanked the large crowd turning up for the final encounter against hosts at Birmingham
The win became all the more important for the M S Dhoni-led side with the sport hogging the limelight back home for spot fixing in the IPL-6.
Off-spinner R Ashwin, whose miserly figures of two for 15 in four overs tightening the noose around English batsmen, said the victory belonged to every Indian cricket fan.

There were animated high-fives all around from the Indian team with the likes Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan displaying some dance moves following a deserved victory.
For Kohli celebrations didn't seem to end there, with the rising Indian star attempting to imitate Gangnam style moves by his Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate Chris Gayle, following the presentation ceremony.u00a0
English players Stuart Broad and Ravi Bopara too lauded the Indian effort.u00a0
Former England captain Michael Vaughan said the Indians were the deserved winners of the tournament.
Meanwhile congratulatory messages poured in for the 'Men In Blue' on the social networking platform.
