Cyclone Hudhud: SCR train services getting back to normal

Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) today said that regular train services, especially towards Visakhapatnam, affected due to cyclone hudhud and the resultant breaches in rail tracks in Vijayawada Division, have been normalised.

"Almost all the train SCR services towards Visakhapatnam and Bhubaneshwar operated normally today. Long distance express trains towards destinations in eastern parts (Bhubaneshwar, Howrah and beyond), passing through SCR, were run on their scheduled normal route (via Visakhapatnam)," an SCR release said here.

In view of some of the diverted trains running late and the disruption in services that occurred in the last few days, some express trains might be run as per rescheduled timings,it said.
