Beat Don Bosco (Matunga) 1-0 in U-16 final at Shivaji Park

Defending champions St Francis D'Assisi (Borivali) retained the JC Maitra Memorial Trophy with a stunning 1-0 win over Don Bosco, Matunga in an engrossing final of the Bengal Club Sports Academy-organised inter-school boys' under-16 football tournament yesterday.

D'Assisi's Elton Quadros, later adjudged player of the tournament, scored the lone goal two minutes before the final whistle. Earlier, St Paul's (Dadar) blanked Colaba Municipal School 4-0 to clinch third place.
