Published: Dec 08, 2013, 03:10 IST | Prakash Gosavi

The Gracias Saldanha Memorial Million is the feature event of Sunday's nine-race card slated at the Mahalaxmi racecourse.

Eight top class sprinters will face the starter over this five-furlong race. Dancing Phoenix, in great heart right now, and is expected to score over Nefyn, Ishpingo and Sharaarat, the three speed-balls who can make the finish interesting.

Feisty Lass, who caught a tartar in Maisha on the opening day of the season, has a very good chance to return to the winner's enclosure by winning the Ahmed I Rahimtoola Trophy for two-year-old maiden horses. However, she will have to be extremely watchful as she faces ten unknown entities who are making debut--two of them, Ladybird and High Expectation, likely to put up a bold show.
