After starring in the Suparn Verma directed Acid Factory in 2009, Danny Denzongpa went off the Bollywood radar. Until now. Sources say that the one-time iconic villain is all set to make his comeback with Karan Malhotra’s Shuddhi, produced by Karan Johar.

Danny will once again play a negative character in the film that also stars Hrithik Roshan.

Our source says, “Danny is one of the most respectable actors in the industry and had been on a self-imposed exile. He has often said he wants to do films that excite him as an actor. His last film in Bollywood was Acid Factory after which he did Endhiran with Rajnikanth. Post that he had been saying no to each and every film coming his way.”

We heard that Danny loved the script of Karan’s film, which will release in Diwali next year.

While Johar remained unavailable for comment, Malhotra denied the news.
