Says Ghildiyal, “My book is a sort of memoir of my journey to become a chef. I also want people to understand how easy and necessary it is to cook for their families as it is the memories of home-cooked meals that a person always remembers. I will be sharing tips and also teaching people how to cook innovatively.”

The chef will be making original dishes as well as interacting with the crowd and teaching them how to improve their cooking.

She emphasises, “Every dish that I teach will be like sharing my secrets. The Dal Soup, which I learnt from my mother, is one such example. I like to be creative and innovative with food, and give it a unique taste. I do not stick to a specific cuisine. Garlic and chilli are my favourite ingredients and can be considered as my signature ingredients as well.”
