India pulled off a 10-run win over Pakistan in a low-scoring thriller at the Ferozeshah Kotla in chilly Delhi on Sunday.
India avoided the ignominy of a series whitewash against Pakistan as their bowlers scripted a brilliant 10-run win in the third and final one-day international in Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla stadium on Sunday.u00a0
Chasing a small total can be tricky and Pakistan failed to overcome the measly target of 168 as the were bowled out for 157 in the 49th over.

Right from the start, some disciplined and tight bowling by the Indians meant Pakistan couldn’t match India's run rate with the bat and the pressure ultimately got to them.
After a rocky start that saw Bhuvneshawar Kumar claiming two Pakistan wickets with the total reading 14 in the seventh over, Pakistan’s tottering chase was rescued by two solid partnerships.
Partnerships between Nasir Jamshed and Misbah-ul-Haq, and then Misbah and Umar Akmal helped the visitors close in on India's total. They needed 25 to win off the last five overs.
Pakistan had looked in complete control at 113 for three, but collapsed spectacularly with the end in sight.
The late collapse saw Pakistan lose their last four wickets for 13 runs to be bowled out for 157.u00a0
MS Dhoni nce again top-scored with 36 from 55 bals.
Ishant Sharma was the pick of India’s bowlers picking up 3 wickets for 36, while Ravichandran Ashwin and Bhuvneshwar Kumar claimed a couple.
Earlier, India won the toss and chose to bat first, but were bowled out for 167 in 43.4 overs.

Pakistan's Saeed Ajmal was the pick of the bowlers with five-wicket haul for 24 runs. This was his best figures in ODI cricket.
India's fragile batting collapsed yet again on Sunday with only Suresh Raina (31) and Dhoni (36) showing some gumption against quality bowling.
Ravidra Jadeja with 27 runs also chipped in to help India move past 150 runs.
Earlier, a change of guard at the top with Ajinkya Rahane coming in for Virender Sehwag didn’t help with the Mumbai lad being sent packing by Mohammed Irfan for 4.
Saeed Ajmal took wickets of Suresh Raina (31), R Ashwin (0), Ravindra Jadeja (27), Bhubaneshwar Kumar (2) and Ishant Sharma (5).
India won the toss and chose to bat against Pakistan in the third and final ODI. Ajinkya Rahane and Shami Ahmed replaced Virendra Sehwag and Ashok Dinda in the Indian squad. Pakistan included Umar Akmal in place of Azhar Ali in the playing eleven.
