A four-year-old girl in east Delhi’s Old Seelampur area died after she fell into a pot of hot tea. The accident took place at the victim’s home.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, the incident took place on Saturday when four-year-old Ayaat's older sister prepared tea in a pot, kept it under the bed, and waited for other family members to arrive. It was then when little Ayaat fell down from the bed into the uncovered saucepan. As she landed headfirst into the pot, she received severe burns on her face as well as upper body parts.
