Sushant Singh Rajput may have gone home happy after signing Shekhar Kapur's Paani but looks like his decision has rubbed someone the wrong way
Insiders say Abhishek Kapoor aka Gattu, who launched Sushant in Kai Po Che, apparently had a major showdown with the actor after news made its way out about his new project.

Incidentally, Abhishek’s Fitoor that stars Sushant could be clashing with Paani, which apparently has irked the director. Sushant has also pledged himself to Dibakar Banerjee’s detective drama on Byomkesh Bakshi. Post the release of his last film, Shuddh Desi Romance, the actor is taking time off to prep for his role of the sleuth to work on his hairstyle, body and accent.
While Fitoor, co-starring Katrina Kaif is slated to go on the floors early next year, Shekhar’s film will start from May onwards. Says a source, “Sushant is on a roll and has three big films in his kitty. But he had a major tiff with Abhishek as the making of the films could clash.”
The actor’s spokesperson rubbished the buzz and stated, “There has been no showdown.” While Abhishek remained unavailable for comment, the director’s friend said, “He was a bit concerned that the dates may clash. Abhishek has launched Sushant and he is extremely happy with his growth.”
