Former Arsenal football star Theo Walcott yesterday revealed that he nearly featured in a Harry Potter film but had to miss out because of England duty. The incident happened in 2007, when Walcott was playing for the England team. His uncle was director of the Order of the Phoenix and wanted to get Walcott to act alongside Daniel Radcliffe & Co.

"My uncle David Yates was the director so he tried to get me in a film, but I didn't have the time to commit to it. It takes a lot of time. He wanted to get me into one of the Quidditch Games with the ball and all that stuff. I had no time, but it would have been great," said Walcott, who moved from Arsenal after 11 years with the Londoners, to Everton on a £20million move.
