Ace squash player Dipika Pallikal eased her way into the finals of the Mumbai-leg of the JSW Challenger Squash Circuit by defeating South Africa's Cheyna Tucker in straight games at the National Sports Club of India (NSCI) courts on Saturday.

The Asian Games bronze medallist won her semi-final match 11-3, 11-6, 11-3 in a contest that lasted for 36 minutes.


In another match, Egypt's Nouran El Torky confirmed her finals berth, beating France's Laura Pomportes 11-8, 13-11, 8-11, 11-9.

In the men's draw, Egypt's Shehab Essam Hosny sealed a place in the finals of the circuit routing Kuwait's Ammar Altamimi 11-6,7-11,11-3,11-3 in 50 minutes.

Meanwhile, Asian Games team event gold medallist Harinder Pal Sandhu recovered from a game down to beat Egypt's Karim El Hammamy 9-11,11-8,11-7, 12-10 to book a place in the finals.
