Director Tigmanshu Dhulia signs his second film as actor

After his debut in Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur as an actor, it looks like director Tigmanshu Dhulia is taking his new-found profession quite seriously

Tigmanshu features in Hansal Mehta’s new film where he plays a lawyer.

The film titled Shahid has officially been selected to be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. A source says, “Just like Anurag, even Hansal is Tigmanshu’s friend. And he could not say no to him. He will play a lawyer and a mentor to Rajkumar Yadav’s character.” The film is based on the true story of slain human rights activist and lawyer Shahid Azmi.
