DJ Calvin Harris has hit out at ex-flame, pop star Taylor Swift, in a public feud, accusing her of trying to 'bury' him. Harris, who split with Swift shortly before she started dating British actor Tom Hiddleston, said he was 'hurt' by reports that lyrics to his song, This Is What You Came For, had been written by her.

Harris clarified on Twitter, "I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut vocals though. And, initially, she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym."
He went on to accuse the singer of 'trying to tear your ex bf down' for 'something to do'. Referring to Katy Perry, who had another longstanding feud with Swift, he said: "I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it (sic)."
Katy Perry later responded on Twitter with a GIF of Hillary Clinton, pulling an 'I told you so' face. She also retweeted her telling tweet, that she penned on May 9, 2015, in which she said: 'Time, the ultimate truth teller.'
The whole Twitter exchange saw the hashtag #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty trending, with Harris' fans coming out in his support.
