NCPA is screening the first-ever adaptation of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by NT Live
The new season of NT Live began on September 6 in London with a bark! We mean, with The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time based on Mark Haddon’s multi-award-winning novel. The theatre has adapted the award-winning novel into a play for the first time. The play will be screened at NCPA till September 25.

The plot
Boone is under suspicion for the death of Shears’ dog, Wellington, who is found speared by a garden fork. It is seven minutes after midnight. Boone sets out to solve the mystery. Though his extraordinary brain is exceptional at maths, it is ill equipped to interpret everyday life. Boone has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road; he detests being touched; and he distrusts strangers. But his detective work takes him on a frightening journey that upturns his world.
The play has been adapted by Simon Stephens and directed by Marianne Elliott. The cast includes Matthew Barker, Niamh Cusack, Sophie Duval and Luke Treadaway.
