Cops have arrested a domestic servant from Bihar for allegedly murdering a 68-year-old woman in Juhu and fleeing with the booty.

Even though the police refused to identify the accused, sources confirmed that the accused was picked up from his hometown in Bihar and also recovered part of the stolen booty from him.

Crime scene: Cops found Shah on the first floor of her apartment

On September 12, Bharti Kishanchand Shah was found murdered in her apartment at Anand Society at Juhu by her sister Irla Shah.

Cops said that during questioning of the other help in the building, it was revealed that one of the servants was missing, which made the authorities suspicious.

They started to look for the missing help and after tracing his mobile, found him in Bihar.

A source added that according to them, the help working at Shah's residence had provided a reference of another servant and that the duo planned the murder and robbery together.

This is the second time that a domestic help has been arrested for a murder in the last few days.  On September 4, cops had nabbed two Nepali domestic helps Ramsingh Badila and Teksingh Badila, and two of their accomplices in connection with the double murder of their employer Kavita Suchak and her driver, Prakash Bagve.
