The 35-year-old driver of the milk van Hanumantharaju was injured in the collision.
Nayaz Baig, an auto rickshaw driver who was near the accident spot, said, "I was having a cup of tea. I rushed to the spot along with a few others and pulled out the driver. He got a few injuries on his leg and was bleeding.

None of the 25 passengers in the BMTC bus, were injured and were sent in another bus.
Traffic Sub-Inspector Mahadevaiah, said, "The BMTC bus driver is at fault." The driver of the bus Nagaraj S Patil (28) claims that the milk van was coming at a high speed and after the accident he was beaten up.
A case has been lodged at the Siddapura police station.
