'Girls never speak to me for longer than 5 minutes'
Is there any way to get more women to notice me? I dress very well and am usually pretty funny, but they don't speak to me for more than 5 minutes
Is there any way to get more women to notice me? I dress very well and am usually pretty funny, but they don't speak to me for more than 5 minutes. Am I doing something wrong?
It's hard to answer that considering I don't know who you are, what you look like, what your idea of dressing well is, and what you think being 'pretty funny' means. Ask your friends and family who know you better than anyone else about what they think you're doing wrong.
The girl I am in love with belongs to another community. She loves me too, but caste is getting in the way. She says her parents will never give her permission to marry someone from another caste, and she doesn't want to hurt her parents in any way. She will accept any decision they thrust upon her. She is so afraid that she will never even discuss us at her house, and won't let me speak to her parents either. If she marries someone else, how will I cope? I don't know if I can survive if she refuses to be mine.

It is one of the tragedies of the country we live in that caste and community continue to prevent people from living together even if they want to. The law is on your side, of course, because consenting adults are free to marry whomsoever they choose to. Having said that, we both know that this is easier said than done, considering the girl you are in love with refuses to even discuss you with her parents. It is her decision and, even if it can't be an easy one for her either, she has made that choice and you may simply have to accept it. As for not being able to survive, India teaches us to handle grief a lot better than most other countries do. You will find a way to move on. Life teaches us many lessons. This will be one in a long line of them.
