An undergraduate student of Symbiosis College has been booked by Koregaon Park police station for reckless driving. Ingrid Sebu Dandi (26), an African national, was arrested and released on bail yesterday.
While driving her car under the influence of alcohol, the woman hit a few motorcycles Tuesday morning near RSI club in Queen’s Garden area.

One of the victims, Jitendra Rajendra Johal of Dhankawadi, had lodged the complaint. The 23-year-old and others sustained minor injuries in the incident. However, Ingrid escaped unhurt.
The accused was produced before the court of judicial magistrate (first class) K P Jain-Desarda yesterday afternoon, and was remanded in judicial custody. However, she filed a bail application through her lawyers DB More and JL Pirzade and was released by the court.

Ingrid arrested for offences under sections 279 (rash driving), 338 (causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others), 427 (damage to property) of the Indian Penal Code and other relevant sections of the Motor Vehicles Act.
