The city's headphone audio community will come together to listen to their favourite tracks in different variants of the listening device at an experiential event. Joining them?
Ever heard your favourite song on a superior set of headphones? Didn't that immeasurably enhance your experience? Well, that's what you might be in for at a headphone audio community event by Headphone Zone, which aims to bring together hobbyist music listeners to discover music on top-of-the-line personal audio products. Check out the boxes on the right for two types of headphones you can hope to find there.
For a more personal feel
Headphones that provide a wide sound actually can't be used in a noisy environment as they leak sound. But it's akin to watching an artiste perform right in front of you, so it's ideal for those who want to enjoy every detail of the music they hear. "But you'll have to use it in a quiet room, not while travelling or even in a library," says Raghav Somani, the event's organiser.
Ones for everyday use
The closed-sound variant gives a narrower feel, and you feel like the song is coming from your head. It gives a sense of privacy and is ideal for everyday use and commuting. "If you listen to music while working, you should go for this variant as it will help you focus," Somani says, adding that the song must be well-mastered.
