A 62-year-old woman, who was alone in her house at Vikasnagar on Dehu Road, was found murdered yesterday afternoon.
The incident came to light around 3 pm at Elora housing society. The deceased has been identified as Sushila Divakar Dandwate.
Police suspect that some unidentified people, who barged into the flat and swiped gold ornaments and cellphones, killed the woman by hitting her with a blunt object.
