Shane Warne opens up for the first time about his new partner Emily Scott and also about his last fling with Liz Hurley

Sydeny: Shane Warne is clearly smitten with his new partner Emily Scott. After going official with the 30-year-old DJ and model recently, the former Australian spin king lavished praise on Scott.

Speaking to KiiS FM yesterday, Warne said Scott is a ‘cool girl’ and added that she is great with the three children — Brooke, Summer and Jackson — that he had with his ex-wife Simone.
“Emily is my girlfriend, we’re having a great time,” Warne told the radio show. “She’s been fantastic. She’s met my parents and met my children. We hung out in Vegas, she was fantastic with the children — she’s very cool, she’s a cool girl. We’re going great,” the Australian legend added.
Warne also made an attempt to clarify issues about his past affair with Liz Hurley with whom he got engaged in 2011 and split earlier this year.
‘Liz moved on faster’
When asked if Warne had sent texts to Hurley after their break-up saying ‘Oh, you moved on quick!’, he said: “I think she was dating someone pretty quickly after me.”
Warne, however, said they are still good friends. “I didn’t take her to the kindergarten playground, no (I behaved maturely). We’re still good friends and all that sort of stuff.”
‘Didn’t kiss Sophie Monk’
Warne also quashed rumours that he kissed Australian RJ and supermodel Sophie Monk, who seemed to admit to kissing him on Thursday. Warne set the record straight by saying: “No. That’s not true, we’ve been friends for ages.”
