EPL champions Manchester City reveal losses of USD 158 million
Manchester City revealed they made an annual loss of 97.9 million (USD 157.9 million, 120.2 million euros) during their EPL title-winning season.
The big-spending Eastlands outfit had lost £197.5m 12 months ago. City’s turnover last season was £231.1m and the club's Abu Dhabi-based owners are happy with the financial performance.
They are sure the huge losses will not have an impact on their ability to meet UEFA’s Financial Fair Play guidelines as £15m comes from infrastructure and youth development costs.
