Liverpool rode on first half goals from star winger Sadio Mane to beat Tottenham 2-0 at Anfield on Saturday. The result saw them climb to the fourth spot on the table with 49 points from 25 matches. But with league leaders Chelsea on 59 points from 24 games, Klopp warned that his team still have a mountain to climb in order to catch up.
"We finally started 2017 tonight but we should not go nuts immediately. What would you think about me now if I said I think we can catch Chelsea?" Klopp was quoted as saying by the Guardian.
