DJ Rae wants you to feel the music at Shiro Lounge tonight. The singer-songwriter and DJ, who is known for her quirky acoustic style that gets people moving on the dance floor, is all set to make sure this evening turns out to be the best dance music event the city has seen. 
"I'll give the Mumbai crowd my 150 per cent," says Rae, as she tells us what to expect tonight. "For me it's all about making people feel the music like I feel the music." Rae promises that the evening will be energetic and warns club-goers to wear their best dancing shoes as it will get impossible to stay off the dance floor.
The highlight of the evening will obviously be a live performance of Persuasion, DJ Rae's latest single that's sizzling on the MTV UK Dance Charts.
Being the first female DJ vocalist to represent Ministry of Sound's brand Housexy, Rae does bring a touch of feminity to her gigs. "I just like to feel sexy, comfortable and feminine. I always wear heels, which can get a little painful sometimes, but it's absolutely worth it," says the DJ between impish giggles.
Rae is excited about her first trip across India. She plans to add to her glam image by picking up some Indian style elements for her wardrobe back home. Rae claims the glamour, culture and people of the country inspire her. "This is the best time to be in India. Plus the dance scene is really fresh and exciting out here, so it's inspiring just to see people's energy," she says.
