Former Germany footballer Lukas Podolski opened his kebab restaurant Mangal Doener in his longtime home city of Cologne on Saturday night. According to British tabloid, Daily Mail, the ex-Bayern Munich forward Podolski will run the restaurant along with two co-owners.

Podolski posted a picture (above) from the opening ceremony of himself cutting slithers off a huge slab of meat. This is not the first time Podolski has opened a fast food outlet. The 32-year-old had launched an ice cream parlour in Cologne while he was still plying his trade in professional football.
