Eye in the sky

If soaring like an eagle or even the thought of it gives you a high, place your bets on this one. Make your adrenaline go on a six-day rampage at Dhana airbase, Sagar in Madhya Pradesh at the India Skydiving Festival (ISF). For highlights, it includes skydiving, para-motor gliding, parasailing and aeromodelling. The skydiving festival specially offers a solo freefall or as known in circles, accelerated or progressive freefalls, an absolute knockout for the bravehearts.

u00a0Mukul Ronak Das, the CEO of the Waltair Skydive India, one of the organisers, says, “The ISF launches the accelerated solo freefall courses or programmes for beginners in India for the first time ever. Also we are planning to have various other aero sports. This will be one of its kind and the biggest ever aero sports adventure festival in India.

” To ensure those 40 seconds are pure exhilaration, requisite ground training of one or two days is mandatory while two instructors will help you in releasing your canopy and firmly keeping a grip on you.

If you’re wondering what to backpack with the week ticking by, a medical certificate is an absolute must. To beat the heat glaze, American tents could be popped into while you recharge your batteries. Giddy up a horse to explore the countryside or bask in some volleyball fun with a gang of friends. Local musical and dance groups’ performances, barbeque counters and live cooking options make this a complete package of fun.
