Farah Khan shares 'mother' of throwback pictures with Karan Johar
As Karan Johar's film, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna completes 12 years, choreographer Farah Khan has shared a hilarious photo from the sets with Karan
On the completion of 12 years of the film, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, filmmaker Karan Johar said that the film is extremely close to his heart, and relates to the people much better now. Karan said that the film received polarised responses but remains special to him. He took to his Instagram account and relived his memories by writing, "A film that will always remain special to me! Had polarised responses but is discussed and probably understood better today! My dream cast @bachchan @iamsrk @amitabhbachchan @realpz #Rani #12yearsofKANK [sic]."
Celebrating the same occasion, choreographer Farah Khan took to her social media account to share a hilarious photo. Farah Khan's posts are always known to be witty, and this was no different. She shared a photo of hers with Karan Johar hugging each other rather funnily. While Karan has an innocent look on his face, Farah makes a weird expression. The step was actually supposed to be picturised on Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji in one of the songs in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.
Taking to her Instagram account she wrote, "Mother of all throwbacks!! what were we doing?? #kank shoot.. thank god didnt make @iamsrk n rani do this in the song.. @karanjohar to many more crazy shoots [sic]."
Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006) revolves around Dev (Shah Rukh Khan) and Maya (Rani Mukerji) meeting in the middle of their respective failing marriages. They become friends and try to help each other in salvaging their marriages but end up falling in love instead. The film also features Abhishek Bachchan and Preity Zinta in crucial roles.
