After doing seven films together, the 'Chashme Baddoor' actors to pair up again for new film 'Listen Amaya'
The popular yesteryear on screen couple Farooque Shaikh and Deepti Naval are all set to rediscover their chemistry in an upcoming film. The two, who acted together in seven films in the early ’80s will now be seen together in debutant director Avinash Singh’s Listen Amaya.

Shaikh and Naval have acted together in memorable films like Chashme Baddoor, Saath Saath, Katha and Faasle among others. And apparently they are extremely happy to be coming together again after a gap of nearly 28 years.
Singh informs, “When we wrote the story we had these two actors in mind. Since they have not been seen together for a long time, there is an air of curiosity. I am glad they are doing the film helmed by me, a first-time director and producer.”
Such was the commitment level of the two senior actors that they were present even during a workshop held before the project went on the floors. “I was blown away by their humility and sense of humour,” says the filmmaker.
