Puneites can get ready to witness a different calibre of fashion this Friday, as the Signature Premier International Fashion Tour 2011 takes centrestage. Leading Indian designer JJ Valaya and international designer Silvio Betterelli from the fashion capital, Milan, will be showcasing their collection for the evening.

Promising an evening of glitterati and couture, Valaya will be showcasing his collection titled Tasveer. It's an elegant, festive line that includes an eclectic mix of pr t and couture wear. As this is Valaya's first show in the city, he is looking forward to the event. Speaking about what's in store, he shares, "My collection has a varied palette of silhouettes and colours. There is a fair amount of drama in the couture line. But as this night is about fashion and style, there is less of it on the ramp."

His collection offers an assortment of saris in luscious georgette with brocade borders and delicate embroidery. The anarkalis with clean cut empire lines, sewn beautifully in hand-woven fabrics and embellished with swarovskis add oomph to the collection.
As the collection unfolds, the signature Valaya jackets make more than a seldom appearance this season. The luxury ready-to-wear is for those who seek elegant finery with just the right dose of regal sophistication.
Also marking the presence of international designs at the event, will be Silvio Betterelli from Milan. The 29 year-old Betterell is a Sardinian and has been living and working in Milan for eight years. After his studies in the Art of Fabric from Sardinia, Fashion Design from Milan and Fine Art and Textiles Design from the University of Plymouth, England, he dedicated himself to different projects.
In 2006, he was the only Italian fashion designer selected for the Fashion Grand Prix ufffd an annual contest held in Tokyo. Among the various collaborations, Silvio also works on the shoes and bags capsule collection for Furla. Catch the dynamic and talented designer at the event. The show-stoppers for the event will be actor Irfan Khan and Miss Italy Tania Bambaci.
