Salman Khan's father Salim Khan was really moved by his performance in his recent release 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. The Christmas release has got Salman a lot of praise from all quarters but he got moved by his father's compliments, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan. It is said that however successful we become, we always need our parents by our side. This holds true for our Bollywood superstars as well. The actor may be one of the biggest blockbuster actors in the industry, but his father's appreciation still tugs at the right strings of Salman Khan's heart.

A source said that when Salim sir watched 'Tiger Zinda Hai' last week, he got emotional like never before. When the superstar got to know about it, he was very happy that his father liked his work. Salman wishes to discuss the film and his performance in detail when he meets his father next. The actor always looks up to his father for his valuable advice, even while selecting scripts, and Salim always expresses his honest opinions. Salman's movie has been performing exceptionally well in the domestic market as well. It has already earned 250 crores.

The superstar will be next seen in his much-awaited action thriller 'Race 3'. Apart from Salman Khan, the film also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem, and Daisy Shah.

'Race 3' is Directed by Remo D'souza and produced by SKF Films and Tips, the film is slated to release on Eid 2018.
