Bollywood is an extremely competitive industry where stars always have to look their best. While shooting, most stars prefer homemade food. From Salman Khan’s favourite chicken curry to Aamir Khan’s small meals every two hours or Hrithik Roshan’s organic foodstuff, every star keeps a close tab on their calorie intake. hitlist peeks into the lunchbox of stars...


Salman Khan
He loves chicken, egg whites and fish in his lunchbox. He avoids sugar and processed food. Salads and pulses are his sources of carbohydrates. He believes in working out with an emphasis on eating well.


John Abraham
He is a big fan of snacking, but ensures that the snacks are simple and healthy. When it comes to lunch, he eats like a common man. Instead of having expensive meals, he prefers chapatis, lentil soup or dal and boiled spinach. On the other hand, his breakfast includes a big glass of fresh juice, six egg whites, slices of buttered toast and 10 almonds.

He loves home-cooked food. His breakfast includes egg whites and a glass of vegetable juice which is made from different vegetables every day. He prefers normal Indian food and his lunchbox includes dal, roti, sabzi and a bowl of curd for lunch.

Hrithik Roshan
He always keeps a check on the intake of oily and fried food. He loves to eat fresh fruits and vegetables and prefers to have six to seven small meals a day. The actor prefers sweet potato, brown rice, chicken and drinks lots of water.

Ranveer singh
His lunch includes rotis or a loaf of bread, about 90 gm of lean meat, a bowl of vegetables and sprouts.

Varun Dhawan
The Main Tera Hero actor likes having steamed brown rice, three chapatis, broccoli and baked chicken in his lunch. He prefers to eat omelette, oatmeal and whole-wheat grain sandwich for breakfast.

Sidharth Malhotra
He eats chicken, fish, meat, and protein-rich foods. The sexy hunk drinks plenty of water to keep himself hydrated and drinks protein smoothies when he doesn’t get time to have a proper meal.

Suneil Shetty
His breakfast includes brown bread and egg white. The lunch box includes roti, brown rice and vegetables.

Deepika Padukone
She prefers eating egg whites, plain dosa with mint chutney, upma, idlis or paranthas for her breakfast. In her lunchbox she loves to have dal, roti, sabzi, salad
and raita.

The actress loves eating ghar ka khana and is completely non-fussy about food. Whether it’s a pepperoni pizza or aloo paratha, she eats well like a Punjabi. Her daily diet consists chapatis, vegetables, soups, salads, rice, dal and lots of fruits.

She prefers brown rice with pulses and vegetable salad. During lunch time she mainly focusses on healthy drinks such as fresh juices that keep her energetic.

For breakfast she likes to have eight scrambled egg whites, mushroom toast, wheat flakes or porridge. Lunch consists of green vegetables, dal, grilled chicken or fish, green salad and soya rotis.

Shilpa Shetty
Her breakfast includes tea, protein shake, two dates and eight black raisins. Her lunch comprises chapati made of five different kinds of grain along with butter, vegetables done in refined oil, chicken and dal.
