No injuries reported; services remained unhindered
A fire broke out at around 2 pm on Friday at a lounge at Mumbai domestic airport's Terminal 1-B. The fire was confined to the ground floor conference hall, where it reportedly started, in an area encompassing about 5,000 sq. ft. No injuries or casualties were reported, and airport services remained unhindered. Eight fire engines, six jumbo tanks, one turntable ladder and one breathing apparatus were present at the spot to douse the fire.
