Says a source, "The actor is busy shooting for the sequel of 'Singham' in Mumbai. When he got to know about his dad's health, he called off the shoot. Ajay then accompanied his father even as he was rushed to the hospital."

The source adds that filmmaker and Ajay's friend, Rohit Shetty, supported the actor throughout his ordeal. "When Rohit got to know about Ajay's father's deteriorating health, he immediately called off the shoot and the entire unit was given an off.

The other day, the unit shot some scenes at Kemps Corner where Ajay's presence was not needed. However, the actor will resume shooting from today; he will be shooting some sequences in Poisar," says this source who is also a unit member.

Both Ajay and Rohit were unavailable for comment but a source close to Ajay says, "Yes, Ajay's father is not keeping well and he was hospitalised recently.

Ajay has been worried about the same." However, this source denied that the film's schedule had been affected. "We don't want to reveal more details, but Ajay's father's condition is stable now and he is on the road to recovery," says the source.
